Mandatory items. Please input your EVA Air or UNI Air booking reference number. It consists of six alphanumeric characters beginning with C.
Note:
1. Airport departure still involves a travel document check and baggage security check, so online check-in does not completely replace the traditional check-in process. However, you will save time by completing procedures online and making use of the exclusive online check-in counters at the airport.
2. This system is available to ticketed passengers with confirmed bookings only. Please ensure that you have the passport of every travel companion included in the booking. Passengers may check in online from 24 hours up to 3 hours before departure.
3. For your security and to prevent credit card fraud, any passenger who purchases a ticket online will be required to present the relevant credit card at check-in.
4. Online check-in is available for all EVA Air and UNI Air scheduled international flights as well as charter flights to Mainland China. It is not available for other charter flights and code-share flights operated by other airlines.
5. Online check-in is unavailable for the following passengers:
a. Passengers traveling with infant(s).
b. Passengers under the age of 12 who are traveling unaccompanied.
c. Passengers requiring assistance (such as those with medical conditions).
d. Group travel passengers, bookings of 10 or more passengers in one single booking reference.
6. If you have completed online check-in for your flight but wish to make late changes to your booking (from 24 up until 3 hours before departure), you must first cancel your online check-in. After you have made the new booking, you will be able to use online check-in to check in for the new flight.
7. To reduce the environmental impact of jet engine emissions, EVA Air is updating its free baggage allowances on trans-Pacific flights to bring them in line with domestic rules. Economy Class passengers will be limited to 23kg/50lb of each checked luggage, Elite Class will be limited to 28kg/61lb, and Premium Laurel Class passengers will be limited to 32kg/70lb. For more information, please click here.
8. After January 12, 2009 all Visa Waiver travelers must apply and be pre-approved to travel to the United States using the Electronic System for Travel Authorization (ESTA). Applications must be made at least 72 hours before departure. Passengers who plan to enter the US using the Visa Waiver will not be permitted to board their flight unless their details have been registered with the ESTA website.
